THE PARADOX introduces its new show segment “The Heart of Atlanta”!

This segment introduces our viewers to Atlanta based non-profit organizations. We want to inspire you to give back and open your heart to our community by showing love and giving support to others.

THE PARADOX Season 2 begins Monday, November 2nd at 10pm on Comcast Atlanta channel 24 with the “Break The Silence” episode.  This episode will feature Voice Today, a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the silence of child sexual abuse.  We interviewed Angela Williams founder of Voice Today and author of “From Sorrows To Sapphires”.

Angela invited us to her “White Out Run For A Voice 5k Race”. This was a fun and very powerful event for a great cause. Angela shared with us a world of information on how to protect children from sexual abuse, signs to look for when your child may have been molested, prevention and available resources to help survivors.  We later joined in the 5k run and met several of the race participants, with whom we had a blast! We ended the day with a pledge for protecting our children and a beautiful balloon release for all of the survivors of child sexual abuse. Please contact Voice Today for more information on how you can get involved in protecting our children and embracing survivors.

Child abuse is a silent epidemic that affects our society as a whole. From victims, to abusers, to survivors-- it’s time to break the silence. Remove the shame. It’s time to have open discussions with our children regarding sexual abuse. Give the silent innocent ones a voice.

This is one event I have always looked for. I cant wait for this year's THE PARADOX Season 2. We need to give our voices to all sexually abused children. Apart from the fun, this one opportunity to also lend our voices to child abuse

Waoo, this is one in a lifetime event. I love giving my voice to the voiceless. If there is anything worth celebrating in this life is seeing people who have lost hope regain their confidence and purpose in life. THE PARADOX always give hope to hopeless. There is always somebody you can help in a little way.

When you give back to the society, the world will forever remember you. I love what THE PARADOX is doing in our society today. This year's event will be an avenue to make people see themselves with dignity, no matter their past. Getting ready!!!! haha

I would love to see Child Abuse and Molestation victims share their story in this event. I believe children should speak out whenever they are abused or molested. We shouldnt keep quiet. Often time, when we keep quiet, we make ourselves live in perpetual guilt and resentment

I love to fight for the voiceless. This is one event I cant miss. I thank God THE PARADOX is providing this platform and medium to fight against child abuse. When we keep quite, heaven will not forgive us. We need to give these victims of sexual abuse the encouragement they need to live a more fulfilling life.

I saw the show and I learned so much! It was sad hearing the lady tell her story that she could not find any help after being abused, that was sad. Thanks for talking about this on your show!

My husband was abused as a child and never got help. Watching the show really helped him deal with stuff he's kept bottled up. This organization is doing a great thing. I think he will reach out to them. We will be there next year.

I saw the show episode and I really enjoyed it. I think opening up about this subject is so important. There are a lot of adult survivors of child abuse who have never talked about it. Good topic! When will the next walk take place?

This is a great topic. It's usually always better to release than to hold things within. This is always something I have been passionate about our world overcoming. My wish is for all of us to move from being victims to victors.
