 The Paradox was at the Museum Bar for R.Kelly’s big birthday bash! It was so cold in the ATL that night we couldn’t even feel our toes, but it heated up fast once the “R” stepped out of his car and into the crowd. When we started our interview R.Kelly’s first words were “TURN UP”… and with those few words, Kelly ignited the crowd and turned up the heat from 0-90!! TURN UP is exactly what happened once he entered the building! Our favorite moment with Kelly was when he took the mic and sang “Happy Birthday” for us. His presence is warm and he is so down to earth and full of life. Thank you Kells for sharing your birthday with The Paradox! The evening was memorable and exciting. First up to the mic was Big Tigger, DJ for V103 and a favorite on air host at BET. Tigger has charisma for days and a smile that shuts down the city; he certainly kept the crowd hype. Case stopped in to let us know he has a new single dropping and longtime friend of the show comedian, Rodney Perry had us all laughing crazy hard with his prediction of R.Kelly’s arrival--which I might add, was so on point! We had a blast and we send the warmest wishes to R.Kelly--Happy Birthday and many,many more!!    The oh-so-kool Big Boi of OutKast was on board with us! ">  |  |
